Making Right Choices Isn't Always Easy But We Must Do Our Best

This post focuses on the importance of making right choices when everyone else is going in the wrong direction. You have the power within you through God to make right choices.

Points to Ponder

1. You must help individuals to reach their destination so they won’t miss their blessings (Matt 9:1-2).
2. You must be careful of your thoughts and words when you have insufficient information (Matt 9:3-5). 
3. When opposition arrive, you must not deviate from doing the right thing and forgive those who need to be forgiven (Matt 9:6-7) 
4. When you see and experience the authority of Jesus, praise and worship Him (Matt 9:8). 
5. When Jesus ask you to follow Him don’t hesitate so you can be blessed (Matt 9:9)
6. You must reach out to individuals making wrong choices because you might be their only road to salvation (Matt 9:10-12).
7. When you are in the presence of Jesus certain rituals are not required to be followed. (Matt. 9:13-17)

 

Something to Consider

 

Living in a world where there are many choices, it becomes very difficult to choose the right path if you don’t know Jesus. The Pharisees were very knowledgeable about the Old testament yet they didn’t choose nor recognize that Jesus was their messiah. They were so caught up into themselves that they could not see the truth about Jesus Christ's ministry. Therefore, they were making many wrong choices. You must not let the world’s choices that contradicts God’s truths distract you from God’s will for your live. There are many evil things that looks and sounds good. Your choices should be about the will of God and not man. Jesus recognized the important needs of sinners. He always made the choice of reaching out to them in spite of their rejection and opposition towards Him. Trust Him and your life will be a light for your family and the world.
